Chris spicer - founder/director
With more than two decades of experience in energy, sustainability, and decarbonisation, Chris has built a reputation for helping organisations translate ambitious energy reduction targets into practical, investable projects. As Founder and Director of Susesco Ltd, he advises clients on delivering complex energy and carbon reduction programmes that generate long-term environmental and commercial value.
Chris has led projects ranging from large-scale building retrofit programmes and low-carbon heat networks to major heat pump deployments within the NHS. His work has contributed to more than £250 million of retrofit investment across London and supported some of the UK's most significant public and private sector decarbonisation initiatives.
Prior to founding Susesco, Chris held senior leadership positions with Turner & Townsend, JLL, and Sweett Group, where he worked with institutional investors, banks, government organisations, and asset owners. He frequently engages with executive boards and senior stakeholders to shape strategy, secure investment, and drive project delivery.
He holds a BSc in Geography and a Master's degree in Environmental Modelling, Monitoring and Management from King's College London.
Jacqueline spicer - Director
Jacqueline has a wealth of experience spanning 25 years across multiple sectors, organisations and disciplines. She is an experienced leader with extensive strategy, change and programme management experience.
Having held several senior posts at organisations such as United Nations, King’s College London, banks and large charities, she has excellent skills in stakeholder management, influencing, critical thinking, presentation and workshop facilitation across a wide range of stakeholders, including C-suite leaders and Boards.
She is a qualified and experienced Project and Programme Manager with extensive experience working on a variety of complex projects and programmes, including setting up new PMOs, using tailored and hybrid models of PRINCE2, MSP, Agile PM and Waterfall.
Jacqueline has a first-class honours Law degree and won various awards at university and throughout her career for outstanding performance. She recently qualified as a Data Technician and has extensive experience setting up and leading data teams as well as analysing energy usage and energy performance data sets to investigate and mitigate risk and improve real estate portfolio performance.
ariq rahman - consultant
Ariq Rahman is a Net Zero and Energy Consultant at Susesco, specialising in the delivery of building retrofit and net zero programmes. He brings a strong background in project and programme management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic energy consultancy, with a focus on practical climate solutions.
Ariq’s expertise spans renewable technology consulting, heat network development, energy project procurement, and business case development. He has worked with a range of public and private sector clients to deliver impactful, large-scale decarbonisation projects.
Prior to joining Susesco in 2024, Ariq was a Consulting Senior Associate at Element Energy/ERM. His project portfolio includes leading roles in high-profile initiatives such as the City of London Corporation’s Climate Action Strategy, Westminster City Council’s Heat Network Renewal, and the Hydrogen Village Trial for Cadent. He has also contributed to strategic hydrogen infrastructure projects across Europe through his work with Clean Hydrogen JU. Ariq holds a BA in Geography from the University of Portsmouth and an MA in Environment and Development from King’s College London.
Tanya Chiwuoke - Programme Operations Manager
Tanya is a Programme Operations Manager at Susesco, supporting the delivery of complex building decarbonisation and net zero programmes. She played a key role in the City of Westminster's Heat Network Decarbonisation project, providing programme coordination, stakeholder engagement and operational support to ensure successful delivery.
With 15 years' experience managing complex projects and programmes, Tanya brings extensive expertise in programme operations, governance, budget monitoring, grant management and process improvement. Her ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and maintain momentum in high-pressure environments makes her a valuable member of the Susesco team.
Prior to joining Susesco, Tanya built a successful career in the international development and non-profit sector. She worked on major donor-funded programmes across Africa and Asia, supporting investments totalling more than £45 million.
Fluent in English and French, Tanya brings strong communication and stakeholder management skills. She holds a BA with Distinction in Political Science, majoring in Community, Public Affairs and Policy Studies from Concordia University, Montreal, and an MA in the Theory and Practice of Human Rights from the University of Essex.
