Chris spicer - founder/director
Chris is the Founder and Director of Suesco Ltd. A highly experienced leader in energy and carbon reduction, with over 18 years experience. Throughout his career, Chris has worked on a wide range of projects and programmes in the UK and internationally. This includes advising London’s flagship building retrofit programme, delivering in excess of £250m investment in building retrofit across London, developing a business case for a major low carbon heat network and enabling a major heat pump retrofit for one of the UK’s largest NHS Trusts.
Prior to starting the company in 2016, Chris was a senior leader for a range of multi national consultancies, including Turner & Townsend and JLL. During this time he worked with a wide range of clients to develop and deliver energy projects, including institutional investors, banks, UK Government and even a Premier League football club.
Chris has experience engaging with senior leadership and has presented numerous times at executive board and Cabinet level. Chris has Masters degree from Kings College in Environmental Modelling, Monitoring and Management.
Jacqueline spicer - Director
Jacqueline has a wealth of experience spanning 25 years across multiple sectors, organisations and disciplines. She is an experienced leader with extensive strategy, change and programme management experience.
Having held several senior posts at organisations such as United Nations, King’s College London, banks and large charities, she has excellent skills in stakeholder management, influencing, critical thinking, presentation and workshop facilitation across a wide range of stakeholders, including C-suite leaders and Boards.
She is a qualified and experienced Project and Programme Manager with extensive experience working on a variety of complex projects and programmes, including setting up new PMOs, using tailored and hybrid models of PRINCE2, MSP, Agile PM and Waterfall.
Jacqueline has a first-class honours Law degree and won various awards at university and throughout her career for outstanding performance. She recently qualified as a Data Technician and has extensive experience setting up and leading data teams as well as analysing energy usage and energy performance data sets to investigate and mitigate risk and improve real estate portfolio performance.
ariq rahman - consultant
Ariq Rahman is a Net Zero and Energy Consultant at Susesco, specialising in the delivery of building retrofit and net zero programmes. He brings a strong background in project and programme management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic energy consultancy, with a focus on practical climate solutions.
Ariq’s expertise spans renewable technology consulting, heat network development, energy project procurement, and business case development. He has worked with a range of public and private sector clients to deliver impactful, large-scale decarbonisation projects.
Prior to joining Susesco in 2024, Ariq was a Consulting Senior Associate at Element Energy/ERM. His project portfolio includes leading roles in high-profile initiatives such as the City of London Corporation’s Climate Action Strategy, Westminster City Council’s Heat Network Renewal, and the Hydrogen Village Trial for Cadent. He has also contributed to strategic hydrogen infrastructure projects across Europe through his work with Clean Hydrogen JU. Ariq holds a BA in Geography from the University of Portsmouth and an MA in Environment and Development from King’s College London.
