Chris spicer - founder/director
Chris is the Founder and Director of Suesco Ltd. A highly experienced leader in the energy and carbon reduction sector with over 18 years experience working across a range of sectors. Chris has worked on a wide range of projects including improving the energy efficiency of Grade 1 listed buildings through to development of £1bn city scale heat networks.
Prior to starting the company in 2016, Chris worked with some of the UK’s leading multi national consultancies and completed a Masters at Kings College London.
He has worked on some of the UK’s most high profile and successful programmes. This includes the GLA’s building retrofit programme which enabled in excess of £100m investment in building retrofit across London and the South East.
Jacqueline spicer - Director
Jacqueline is a Director, strategist and leader with 25 years' experience across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors developing high-performing teams and business functions.
She is a qualified and experienced Project and Programme Manager managing a variety of complex projects/programmes with experience setting up new PMOs using PRINCE2, MSP and Agile PM.
Jacqueline has 10 years experience at ‘Head of’ level in strategy, planning, insight, data analysis and research (qual and quant). Developed insight driven growth funding strategies across income and product streams – enabling up to 80% growth in income through audience and customer strategies, improved business models and operational effectiveness.
Excellent skills in influencing, critical thinking, presentation and facilitation working with C-suite leaders, including Boards. Reputation for being inquisitive, thought-provoking and challenging the status quo; providing Executives with a fresh perspective to make difficult decisions and answer the big strategic questions.
ariq rahman - consultant
Ariq Rahman is a Net Zero and Energy Consultant at Susesco, specialising in the delivery of building retrofit and net zero programmes. He brings a strong background in project and programme management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic energy consultancy, with a focus on practical climate solutions.
Ariq’s expertise spans renewable technology consulting, heat network development, energy project procurement, and business case development. He has worked with a range of public and private sector clients to deliver impactful, large-scale decarbonisation projects.
Prior to joining Susesco in 2024, Ariq was a Consulting Senior Associate at Element Energy/ERM. His project portfolio includes leading roles in high-profile initiatives such as the City of London Corporation’s Climate Action Strategy, Westminster City Council’s Heat Network Renewal, and the Hydrogen Village Trial for Cadent. He has also contributed to strategic hydrogen infrastructure projects across Europe through his work with Clean Hydrogen JU. Ariq holds a BA in Geography from the University of Portsmouth and an MA in Environment and Development from King’s College London.
